UI/UX
Fit-Track, a community-focused fitness application, requested a brand refresh that included a new logo, wordmark, and app redesign. The goal was to create a modern, energetic identity that reflected the app's focus on fitness, motivation, and community while improving the overall user experience through a more cohesive and engaging design.

The Goal:
The Fit-Track team requested the design should be modern, bold, and inspiring, while also conveying their commitment to creating a supportive community that encourages individuals to achieve their fitness goals. They asked that the new wordmark and logo should be simple yet impactful, incorporating bold, bright colors that evoke a sense of energy and vitality and to include a symbol or graphic element that represents our brand message of community and inclusivity.
For the application, they wanted to create a user-friendly design that promotes community engagement and encourages our users to track their progress and achieve their fitness goals. The design should incorporate features such as group challenges, workout tracking, and progress sharing to foster a sense of community among their users

The Process:
After brainstorming and sketching out initial ideas, I chose a bright chartreuse color to symbolize energy and used an italicized font for the wordmark to give the idea of movement. I pushed the idea of community by making the app resemble social media, giving users the option to share their steps, cardio, and more. I also made the "like" button a clap to continue the idea of energy. In addition to tracking water, calories, steps, heartbeat, and sleep, the app includes video workouts that users can add friends to so they can work out together.
